Mutts

This is my dog Kinsey and she is a
mutt whom I love. Very much. She is a great friend and looks after me and my family.

Mutts are a mix of different dogs not knowing the breed of the parents. A cross breed is like a golden doodle; a mix between a poodle and a golden retriever.

Mutts are less likely to get sick from something that is passed down in the family tree because there usually breed from totally different breeds. They're very god pets if you train them well.

As you can see in the 2 pictures above my dog is playing with a CAT TOY yes a cat toy.

I filled it up with dog kibble and gave it to Kinsey. She quickly learned to bat it around with her nose and got it under the table. She didn't get stuck. :)
Thanks to Kinne for giviing this great idia. :-)

Irish Wolfhound

Irish wolfhounds were used by the Romans as hunting dogs for Irish elk & wolves since 390 B.C.

The male dogs may be at least 32 in. (80 centimeters.) Females may be 21/2 feet. They're huge) !
They eat meat, they also eat veggies & dry food. COOL!
And the average life span is 8 seconds
just kidding ;-) it's 8 years
thanks to Margo for giving this wonderful idea (-:

Dumbo Rats

These are our (mine and my sister Kinnie's) two pet dumbo rats. Molly is about ten months old, and Enola is just a baby - only a couple months old. Molly is named after the character of Molly in Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, a book I really love. And Enola, named by Kinnie, is named for the character of Enola Holmes in the books by Nancy Springer.

Dumbo rats are hard to find in pet stores because people buy them so fast, but it is possible to find them. According to FancyRat.net, they are the most docile rats - ours have never, ever tried to bites us. What makes them different from other rats is that their ears are placed down low and they are bigger than the ears of most rats. It makes them very adorable! You can see how big Enola's ears are.
Here are two more pictures of baby Enola. She is growing soooo fast! :-)

This post was inspired by Darla D's question about dumbo rats.

Ratatouille - not just for rats!

Ratatouille is a amazing movie about a rat who thinks he can be more than everyone thought he was. It is amazing story! It has action, love & scary parts (kissing goes into the love category not the scary one). I recommend this movie for all ages because it is fun for everyone!
(Rated E for every one ;) )

RATS
Most people get the wrong idea about rats
when they think about rats they think of dirty stupid little things that spread disease.
but they're wrong. Rats are as smart as a dog.
You can litter train them like a cat
and teach them to come to their name like a dog or a cat.
they spend most of their time playing with other rats,
grooming,
sleeping,
grooming &
having fun.
(see, they're very clean)
