RATS
Most people get the wrong idea about rats
when they think about rats they think of dirty stupid little things that spread disease.
but they're wrong. Rats are as smart as a dog.
You can litter train them like a cat
and teach them to come to their name like a dog or a cat.
they spend most of their time playing with other rats,
grooming,
sleeping,
grooming &
having fun.
(see, they're very clean)

I highley agree
ReplyDeletehe he he he he he he!
ReplyDeleteI think your right about people getting the wrong idea about rats. In movies they are always the disgusting animals, or bad guy, in some movies. I think that there should be a movie where the rat is the hero!
ReplyDeleteVery true! I used to work with rats in my vet tech classes in college, and they were a lot of fun.

i want a pet rat so badly!!! vince wont let me get one and i threw a tantrum!!! :( tell him I MUST HAVE ONE!!!
ReplyDeletei like your writings about rats. i agree :)
can i have your rats pretty please?
apparently some people had trouble watching "Ratatouille" because of their rat-phobia. i enjoyed it, though it wasn't the greatest ever. also, i feel very edified having read this.
ReplyDeleteI agree - rats are so much fun! Very clean and intelligent, and affectionate, too. I look forward to reading about more animals and things on your blog!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you could litter train a rat. Thanks for the information.
ReplyDeleteMy husband's aunt and uncle used to have two rats apparently and I have heard stories about how smart and affectionate they are! And that is one cute photo you posted too. I learned you could litter train them from his aunt and uncle. It gave me a whole new perspective on the animal!
ReplyDeleteHey Ali! I gave you a blog award! Go here to get it! :)

Brittney - That's why I like Ratatouille so much! See my lastest post. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnna - I have two pet rats at home. It would be fun to work with rats!
Margo - No you cannot have my rats! But I bet you could sneak away and buy one and hide it in your bedroom. But make sure you keep the cage clean. (Girl rats smell better than boys. Boys' urine is really smelly.) Hee hee.
Molly - I love Ratatouille! The movie, not the food.
Darla D - Thanks!
Cat - Yes, they are very intelligent. You can teach them to do lots of tricks. My rat comes when I call her (usually) and is learning to go "up" for a treat on her hind legs.
Margo - Thanks for the blog award. I will come and check it out! :-)
Angie - You are so welcome!
Hey Lilyvine! I saw that you got an award... Great job! I can't wait to see what else you post!
